FLAGSTAFF, AZ – The Coconino County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of two suspicious fires in the Doney Park area, approximately 10 miles northeast of Flagstaff.
Authorities said they interviewed 38-year-old Rachel Rae Bridges, who was interested in the fires but did not say what role she played, if any.
Coconino County officials said Tuesday morning that around 10 houses had been evacuated as a precaution. The evacuations were lifted later that morning, officials said.
The flame damaged structures, but the extent of the damage was not immediately known.
At the time, officials responded to reports of a "significant fire on private property," but later tweeted that the fire grew to a few acres and that the crews would work the area overnight.
No charges were brought against Bridges as of Tuesday, according to the CCSO.
